I never imagined that ANYONE in Colorado of all places knew BBQ ribs, but I will say, I was WRONG. Simply amazing BBQ!!
Now, I used to have my own Cafe as well, so I have a bean recipe that is outstanding. Well, so I thought. Your beans were amazing!! LOVED them. Cannot top them!!
My son started working for me in my Cafe when he was 9 or 10. He was a bus boy, dishwasher and host. I didn't know then that it would perk his interest in Culinary Arts. When he got into our High School, they offered a Culinary Program that he went through for 4 years. He participated in the SkillsUSA competitions as well. Now the cool part. He is on Extern at Devil's Thumb in Tabernash from your father's alma matter of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY! Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm just so proud of him and what he's doing that I always get excited when I see a fellow Chef from there for him.
Y'all are doing a fantastic job out there!! We are coming back in the middle of December to help our son come back home. I hope we get the time to stop by there again and eat. I am craving those ribs again!!
